The NDW is a 153 mile walking route from Farnham, Surrey to Dover, Kent. A brisk walk rejoining the NDW after a gentle climb from Harrietsham station. The trail passes close to the village of Lenham giving good views over the surrounding fields and ends in the small town of Wye. There are a few undulations but mostly easy going on gravel tracks and quiet tarmac lanes following the Pilgrim’s Way. NDW Stage 10 will be on 20 August.

Lunch: in the pretty village of Charing for picnic near the church (Tea Room is closed).
