Saturday, 3 September 2022 - PILGRIMS WAY 4: OTFORD TO HALLING - 13 miles - Leader: Barbara M

From now on, we are more-or-less following the route of ancient trackways (sometimes now busy lanes without pavement) from Winchester to Canterbury and encounter roads called Pilgrims Way and houses with "Pilgrim" in their title. We visit a medieval church in Kemsing. After Wrotham, we switch to the North Downs Way to take in the Visitor Centre at Trosley Country Park, followed by a descent on a chalk path which may be slippery to rejoin PW. Good views of the Medway Valley. 
Lunch: Trosley Country Park (cafe, picnic)
