A hilly walk through woods, along a stream to the old village of Plaxtol, then through the park of Fairlawne House to Ightham Mote. Our onward walk after lunch starts with a long ascent along the Greensand Way which is a ridge with lovely views southwards. The first half of this walk is based on Saturday Walkers Club Walk 36. Train: 09.55 London Victoria, 10.12 Bromley South. Buy 2 single tickets; Borough Green and Wrotham and Sevenoaks are on different lines. Lunch: picnic or cafe at Ightham Mote, a National Trust property. The toilets and cafe are accessible without a ticket. Toilets: please use the toilets on the train. The only toilet en route is at Ightham Mote.
