At a moderate pace with some short but steep ups and downs via woodlands; the reservoir waterside and Ardingley Church.Poles are helpful. We stop for lunch at Wakehurst Place (the outstation of Kew Gardens).There is a limited cafe and also loos without needing to pay to go into the gardens. Entrance is otherwise free to National Trust or Kew members or £9.50 if present proof of public transport travel. Occasional buses to Haywards Heath should anyone want to linger longer in the gardens.
